What is a blog?

A blog is an internet site that you post write-ups on anything it may be your thoughts and opinions. We use this blog system in media as it helps us to get used to the blogging system and it helps the teacher by us answering our questions. We use the computer instead of work books as it makes it more exciting and enjoyable to us students.

What are Blogs used for?
Blogs are a way to communicate with others and and share your thoughts and opinions and are able to interact with people. You can post anything you want on your site.

..::.. Our new product is the wardrobe wonder..::..
This helps you pick what to wear in the morning. You insert the memory stick and let the programme load. Then you uplaod a picture of yourself onto the computer and set it as your main picture then you upload pictures of your clothes and update the programme. Then you are ready to start using the programme. The wardrobe wonder picks out the right clothes for what your doing e.g If you are going on a date you can click on the date Icon and the programme will pick out the right clothes for your date. It will cost $79.47.

In the beginning of our add we have girls on the phone and they all say they have no idea what to wear... Then in comes a super hero with the wardrobe wonder. She gives a brief description of the product and then goes off. the girls are at the top of the stairs (outside CAC) and say "thanks wardrobe Wonder "the super hero gives a cheesy grin and a thumbs up. All the girls jump off the stairs and the advert stops while the girls are in mid air.

We will be advertising the Homework Doing Device (HDD)
This is a memory stick that has a programme containing the software needed to do your homework...FOR YOU!
after installing the programme you are able to pick subjects, textbooks, the date the work needs to be completed and the grade that you would like for the work. If the work is not from a text book you can write a description of the homework or scan it onto the computer and copy and paste.
::Why do you think people will want to but this product?::
What child doesn't want to have something that does their homework for them!?!
::How will your advertising encourage people to pay for your product?::
Well we could advertise the product earlyin the morning or at around 7p.m at night when children looking for a product like this will be watching TV. They will see the product and know that it is the thing that they are looking for their way out of doing homework and they don't need to make up lame excuses about how the dog ate their homework. They will see that the price of the product ($59.99)
is a very resonable price and it is a must have for children of all ages!!

What I want to get out of media this term- Miss Holmes

I would like to learn:

All about filming and all about camera shots and how they can effect how the shot is seen or how it can change the feeling of the shot. Also how to edit clips and add music ect to the clips.

I would also like to learn about radio and how it works but as you said We will not have time for that.

I would also like to laern about Magazines and how to set up ect. Also knowing how to set up magazine covers would be cool.

I also want to have FUN!
